Conform or Transform
Do we deny ourselves the right to express our truest selves, because we are afraid of the opinions of others weighing us down? Or are we chained to the soil by the stories made up in our own minds, that we cannot look up for the truth of who we were created to be?
All I know is that battling conforming to the words and looks given around me, does not give me the courage to step into my flow. It does not open up the doors of loving myself right here where I am, rather the battle instills the fear that I am not worthy to share my story nor my gifts.
But that is the lie, because we are all created in Love. We are all created to share our hearts in the most rawest ways, yes even with the ugly, messy, blotches. The stains that have taken seasons to scrub and scar, and be a remembrance of where we have been. And without those elements there would be no beauty in the blossoming. Without the moments of doubt, we would have not had the choice to conform to the lies, or be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
We need to hear one another’s stories of triumphs and failures, we need to paint, to write, to build through the eyes of none other but ourselves. Because our stories are what brings humanity back to earth. It is what brings us back to looking one another in the eye, and saying you got this, we got this, you aren’t alone.
The transformation brings us to our knees in humility, and allows Love bigger than ourselves to actually work by fate and not by sight. That when we loosen the grip of judgement, something bigger than ourselves can bring back the grounded confidence that we have something special to offer in this specific time and place of eternity.
Simply be you, because your time here is so precious. Why would you spend your energy and gift of today trying to impress or become another’s story; when there is no way to fully understand the depth of another’s journey.
Live out your truth, the world needs to be shaken and inspired in seeing the depth and strength of what believing in yourself can do.
Love all my light and wonder,
Chloe
